Zucchero (Adelmo Fornaciari) es un cantante y autor italiano nacido el 25 de septiembre de 1955. Su carrera comenzó en 1970 y hasta la fecha todavía sigue en actividad.

La canción “Senza una donna” fue escrita por Zucchero en 1987. Luego fue grabada junto a Paul Young. El sencillo de esta versión, lanzado en 1991, fue un éxito; alcanzó el cuarto lugar en el Reino Unido, el segundo en Alemania y Francia y el primer puesto en varios países de Europa.
